How does Stitch-O-Mat Work?
Stitch-O-Mat is open for drop in sessions throughout the week and for organised workshops throughout the year. Whether it be to start a new project of your own, contribute to our community projects, to repair or mend, or a space to learn to sew; Stitch-0-Mat has everything you need. We have fabric, materials and machines for all your sewing and crafting projects. There is always a facilitator with sewing experience on hand to help you with your projects and to ask for advice. Workshops will be advertised through our Facebook page which you can find by clicking on the icon below. We also have an Instagram account for inspiration and YouTube channel, if you cant get to us in person and need a tutorial to follow.

and every Second Sunday 1pm - 4pm
Stitch-O-Mat has a suggested Koha amount of $5 per session. Stitch-O-Mat also has concession cards available for both $20 (4 plus a bonus session) and $40 (8 plus 2 bonus sessions). You can purchase these from us directly when your call in. Alternatively you can pay online for drop in sessions into the account below.

How you can get involved with Stitch-O-Mat
Stitch-O-Mat is a Charitable Trust that operates with the help of funding through community grants, Koha for drop in sessions ($5 Koha recommended per session), and by running workshops. However, some of our most needed support comes in the form of 'time'.
We have large amounts of fabric and resources donated that need sorting and compiling so that Stitch-O-Mat continues to have a workable space. If you would like to donate your time to Stitch-O-Mat please get in touch, we are grateful for all offers of help. Alternatively drop by and ask one of our facilitators what needs doing and they will be sure to point you in the right direction.
